Yeah... I think the main problem is Facebook. People create groups, and it's easy to stay in one website/place and talk with everyone. The problem is, you lose the searchability and organization that message boards provide. Finding historic content in a Facebook group is painful. Hence, the usefulness of HRI at least being read-only.
Big changes coming to MusicPlayers.com in a month, so stay tuned! :-)

Hi Van... this should really go in the Guitars/Rigs & Effects forum, but I'll answer here.
I've actually never heard of the Legend 2, but right now am assuming it's a MIDI foot controller.
Any classic MIDI foot controller can connect to your computer with a simple MIDI interface. Yes, the common MIDI-to-USB adaptors would work perfectly. In your host applications, there is almost always a MIDI LEARN function, where you touch a control, enable the Learn mode, then you touch the desired knob or foot switch on the controller, and it sets up the mapping for you.

So who else is headed to the NAMM Show next week? Look for the MusicPlayers.com team to be out and about...
and where have all the HRI guys and gals gone? It's quiet around here!
Interesting all-in-one floor effects pedal coming out from the team that made Eleven! Looks like the Helix and Fractal pedalboards have a new competitor. And I heard *rumors* that Suhr will be exhibiting again!

Hello everyone!
Whew... what a year 2016 was. We lost many great musical artists, but also saw some surprisingly good choices nominated for induction into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, Tupack not withstanding :-p.
We just launched MusicianFinder.com, and I am hopeful that every US-based musician takes the time to set up a free profile, and... post online to tell your friends about it! The sooner that all musicians know about it, the sooner it becomes a truly useful resource for all of us. And I really need to nail down the lead singer slot in my band! :-p
We will have a large team at the Winter NAMM Show this year. If you spot any guys wearing black MusicPlayers.com t-shirts with bright purple sleeves, stop us to say hello!
I hope you all have a great holiday season, filled with life, love, laughter, and music.
Best,
Scott

In that case, I'd also consider the DSL100H, which I see is under $700 on eBay. Two channels, classic Marshall tone.

If you're getting your first Marshall, I would suggest going for the Marshall JVM Series JVM205H 50W head or the JVM210H 100W head. The current Marshall heads are well featured, deliver great Marshall tone, and better clean sounds than any of the classic model Marshall amps, which was the one main complaint of those amps. We reviewed the four-channel version, the JVM410, when it first came out, and as Marshall amps go, we really liked it. musicplayers.com/reviews/guitars/2007/0907_Marshall_JVM.phpScott

I agree... or at least I thought I did. Personally, I prefer shiny, new, hot looking finishes with some flash. But then half of my guitars have flamed maple tops... I used to think of the distressed guitars as being sort of poser-isa, but someone pointed out to me that enjoying a worn-out look is no different than fashion. And truth be told, I love my faded jeans and some with holes and patches, so for me to hate players using new, old-looking guitars is really quite hypocritical. So, I have let go of the hate :-p lol.

Maybe we've all just bought all the stuff we need for our racks? :-p Ha, ok, like that will ever happen lol.

Yikes... I totally wrote the wrong thing in my answer!!! I was actually thinking to do basically what he already did, with the output from each processor going into the line mixer.
There is no clean way to do this without Y cables and/or a second line mixer... here's one way:
Loop 1 SEND --> Chandler Delay IN Chandler Delay OUT --> Line Mixer IN 1
Loop 2 SEND --> G-Major IN G-Major OUT --> Line Mixer IN 2
Line Mixer OUT --> Amp FX Return
Perhaps this: connect a short jumper cable from Loop 1 OUT to Loop 2 IN so that these two loops DO run in series. But if you want them to sometimes NOT be in series, then put a second line mixer in between Loop 1 OUT and Loop 2 IN, and you can control whether or not you want the delay signal passed along to the G-Major in series or not.
Not 100% certain this would work with the GCX...

I don't have a GCX, but having glanced at the interface, I'm pretty sure that this is as simple as a jumper cable... you have to connect a short cable from the OUT of the G-Major loop to the IN of the Chandler's loop.
Let me assume
Loop 1 SEND --> G-Major IN G-Major OUT --> Loop 1 RETURN
Loop 2 SEND --> Chandler Delay IN Chandler Delay OUT --> Loop 2 RETURN
If you just have each device connected to the SEND and RETURN jacks of separate loops, then no signal flows from Loop 1 to Loop 2 as they are truly independent.
You need to connect a short jumper cable from Loop 1 OUT to Loop 2 IN.
Each loops OUT should be what you connect to your line mixer.
You should also jumper Loop 2 OUT to Loop 3 IN, have nothing in this loop's send/return, and connect Loop 3 OUT to the line mixer. This dry signal loop will let you keep your effects loop engaged, but without any effects.
Let me know if this helps!

Just finished basic setup of my pedalboard. Originally this was going to be for my B rig (the A rig has a rack and a TC Electronic G-System Limited), but it delivers a pretty awesome creative sonic palette. The delay and reverb are configured to run in my amp effects loop, all other pedals are in front of the amp... I ran out of jacks for my Planet Waves custom cables on the last pedal, so have to update that, and then get a custom connection interface for the side of the board to make setup fast and easy. Amazing that the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 4x4 can power everything you see here. Board is PedalTrain 3 if I recall correctly...

Mark IV head in good condition, works perfectly, includes a heavy duty live-in hard case, and the Mesa foot controller. Will get photos soon. Asking $1,000 plus shipping in the USA only. My guess is shipping will add around $50-60 -- in the protective case, the head is particularly heavy.
