Plexi Palace (asking for donations to put the site back online) Guitar.com (gone last summer) MetroAmp (all but dead) Rig-Talk (near death - nothin but NGD and GAS posts - and stupid Facebook-like arguments) HRI (dead - read only) |

Yeah... I think the main problem is Facebook. People create groups, and it's easy to stay in one website/place and talk with everyone. The problem is, you lose the searchability and organization that message boards provide. Finding historic content in a Facebook group is painful. Hence, the usefulness of HRI at least being read-only.
