It's so hard to get this particular party started! Would love more people to come in and start sharing... I hear ya. The guitar forums are all dying off, one by one. Plexi Palace (asking for donations to put the site back online) Guitar.com (gone last summer) MetroAmp (all but dead) Rig-Talk (near death - nothin but NGD and GAS posts - and stupid Facebook-like arguments) HRI (dead - read only)

Yeah... I think the main problem is Facebook. People create groups, and it's easy to stay in one website/place and talk with everyone. The problem is, you lose the searchability and organization that message boards provide. Finding historic content in a Facebook group is painful. Hence, the usefulness of HRI at least being read-only.
